Lesson location

AZL’s home base is swimming pool De Fluit, Fluitpolderplein 1 in Leidschendam.

Swimming pool De Fluit is easy to reach (also from the surrounding municipalities, such as Voorburg, Voorschoten, Den Haag, Leidschenveen and Wassenaar) via the N14 and the Noordsingel or via public transport (tram 6 or bus 46). There is ample bicycle parking next to the swimming pool and plenty of free parking spaces.

Lesson times

AZL provides swimming lessons for the Swim-ABC and swimming proficiency diplomas on the following days and times.

Thursday

Class 1:  6:30 PM – 7:15 PM

Class 2:  7:15 PM – 8:00 PM

Class 3:  8:00 PM – 8:45 PM Training only

Class 4:  8:45 PM – 9:30 PM Free swimming for qualified, or highly skilled adults only

Currently, due to a shortage of volunteers, there is no structural lesson offer for adults who cannot yet swim independently.

Saturday

Class 5:  3:30 PM – 4:15 PM

Class 6:  4:15 PM – 5:00 PM

Class 7:  5:00 PM – 5:45 PM

Class 8:  5:45 PM – 6:30 PM

Swimming lessons continue as normal during school holidays, except for summer holidays. There are no lessons on national holidays. See our annual calendar for an overview of all lesson days.
